However, my experience was marred by a mix-up with my room booking and issues with food quality. While the location is breathtaking, service could use improvement to match the setting.

I had a pretty good stay at this hotel in Ghoom. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views of Mt. Kanchenjunga were stunning, at least when the clouds cleared up. However, the access road was a real challenge; it's narrow and bumpy, which made getting there a bit of a hassle. Also, the dining options were on the pricier side, so be prepared for that.
